We, Kohinoor Printers Private Limited, are committed to maintain all the applicable statutory and regulatory rules related to Occupational Health and Safety. KPPL is committed to provide a safe and healthy environment in which our employees, visitors and customers can carry out their business. We firmly believe in and are committed to ensuring that our operations are carried out in a way that ensures the health and safety of everyone. We will not produce or render any service likely to cause an accident or exposure that may result in personal injury, damage to equipment or loss in process. Each member of our organization is responsible for health and safety and will be held accountable for their actions.

We are committed to:

Code of Conduct

OBJECTIVE

To standardize the operating procedure in work place conduct and providing clarity to the employees.

SCOPE:

All employees of the Organization whose place of work is Office/Factory.

RESPONSIBILITY:

HR is responsible for implementing this policy

ACCOUNTABILITY:

Respective Departmental Heads is accountable for monitoring the process and ensuring adherence to this policy.

PROCESS:

Employment Obligations
  1. All employees must carry out the work meticulously and in accordance with specific or general instructions given to them by their superior directly or through delegated authority, or through SOP.
  2. Exclusive Service: Employees are paid to do the work of the company and they must not engage in any other work either for themselves or for any other persons or firms during and / or after/or before working hours except with the previous permission in writing of their superiors. (Normally for work which is beyond our scope).
  3. Employees of KOHINOOR PRINTERS PRIVATE LIMITED shall take reasonable precautions to safeguard the company’s property and to prevent accident or damage to it and shall be liable to give account of company’s property, as and when required.
  4. It is the duty of every employee of KOHINOOR PRINTERS PRIVATE LIMITED to see that his personal office equipment (computer, printer other office facilities) and work place is kept clean and tidy.
  5. Employees of KOHINOOR PRINTERS PRIVATE LIMITED shall not take out of the works, any article or materials belonging to the company without a written permission issued by the person authorized in this behalf by the company.
  6. Employees at KOHINOOR PRINTERS PRIVATE LIMITED shall be personally responsible for any articles belonging to them and brought by them to the company premises. The company shall not be responsible for loss / damage for any reason whatsoever of such articles. If any articles are considered dangerous or prejudicial to the interest of the company or otherwise objectionable, the same is liable to be detained.
  7. No employee of KOHINOOR PRINTERS PRIVATE LIMITED except in the ordinary course of his / her duties service shall disclose any secrets, secret concerning the operations of the company which is in the nature of trade or business secret.
  8. All books, drawings, sketches, photograph’s and similar paper containing notes or information relating to the company’s property whether prepared by the employee or otherwise shall not be taken out of the company premises without written permission from the Departmental Head.
  9. Employees of KOHINOOR PRINTERS PRIVATE LIMITED may be required to undergo training related to their products and services. Refusal to undergo such training shall be treated as misconduct.
  10. It is mandatory for all the employees of KOHINOOR PRINTERS PRIVATE LIMITED who is deputed at the Factory, should adhere to factories’ Policies, Practices, rules and regulations. Refusal or failure to adhere the same shall be treated as a severe misconduct. And the same way It is mandatory for all the employees of KOHINOOR PRINTERS PRIVATE LIMITED who is deputed at the client’s site, should adhere to client’s Policies, Practices, rules and regulations. Refusal or failure to adhere the same shall be treated as a severe misconduct.
  11. No employee shall be allowed to enter the office premises with any weapon or inflammable or objectionable material or in the state of inebriated condition. If found inebriated condition, the Management has got all the rights to take appropriate action.
  12. The storage spaces issued to the employee are liable to be searched by the Management at their discretion.
  13. All the employees need to return back all the items / equipment issued on their name at the time of relieving from duty and obtain the clearance certificate from HR duly.
Identity cards
  1. Every employee shall be provided with an identity card bearing such particulars as may be prescribed by the Management which the employee must carry on him at all the times while he/she is within the premises of the company.
  2. Loss of ID card must immediately be reported in writing
  3. New ID card shall be issued on payment of a nominal fee.
  4. Failure to report the loss of identity card within 24 hours shall render the employee liable for disciplinary action.
  5. No employee shall be admitted within the premises without the identity card.
  6. In case an employee has forgotten to bring his/her identity card he / she have to report the same to the HR department.
  7. On the termination of service or on being suspended from work the concerned shall surrender his identity card to the authorized admin officer. Failing which an amount equivalent to the cost thereof as notified by the Management from time to time, shall be recovered from any dues payable to him.
General Rules
  1. An entire office premise has been declared as “NO SMOKING” zone. Smoking is not be allowed in KOHINOOR PRINTERS PRIVATE LIMITED premises.
  2. All employees shall retire automatically from the services of the company on attaining the age of 58 years.
  3. All employees of KOHINOOR PRINTERS PRIVATE LIMITED, desirous of leaving employment shall give the company the applicable notice period for the grade, in writing or surrender salary in lieu thereof subject to the provisions of their employment contract.
  4. Every employee shall furnish to the company their permanent home address and their local address. Any change in those addresses shall be reported promptly by the employee in writing to the company through their Senior executive/Head but not later than a week, otherwise, the address furnished in the employment proposal form shall be considered as valid / correct for all purposes.
  5. Every employee shall furnish their family details in case of any addition or expiry of family members (here expiry includes death, divorce etc.)
  6. Failure to furnish any change of one’s address shall be deemed as misconduct.
